Hi! I'm Mandy!

I'm currently in my startup girl era where I launch one app/ website a month, & treat each one like a tiny business experiment. Whether it solves a weirdly specific problem or just scratches an itch I have, I build fast, learn by shipping, & try to make products people enjoy using (& occasionally open their wallets for).

About Me

🗣️ Languages I Speak
- Burmese (Native)
- English (Fluent)

One day, I want to become a startup founder. I was first introduced to entrepreneurship through indie builders like Marc Lou, Pieter Levels, Steven Cravotta, Blake Anderson, and Zach Yadagiri—people who turned simple ideas into multi-million dollar internet businesses. Their stories showed me that with creativity, persistence, and a laptop, you can build something impactful from anywhere in the world.
That’s the path I’m working toward—building apps and websites that solve real problems, bring people joy, and have the potential to grow into something much bigger. I’ve become obsessed with the process—coming up with ideas, shipping fast, learning from users, and repeating. Every project I build is a small experiment, a step closer to understanding what makes products stick. I’m not chasing viral success; I’m chasing consistency, learning, and growth. And I know that if I keep showing up, one of these ideas might just take off.
How I Got Into Coding
I didn’t grow up like some of those coding prodigies who published their first app at 10. In fact, I didn’t even have my first computer until year 10! I remember struggling with Microsoft Excel in school and attending tuition to get the basics down. But everything changed when I discovered HTML and CSS in my IGCSE ICT class. I was hooked. From there, I started building little websites, and the more I learned, the more I enjoyed it. Each project fueled my passion and sharpened my skills; it's like a virtuous cycle where the better I get, the more I want to create, and the more I create, the better I become. Now, I design, code, and write copy for everything on my own, always pushing myself to create better and bigger things.
On days off from school, my morning routine is to code for two hours right after waking up, then enjoy a well-deserved breakfast.
When I'm not coding, I’m usually brainstorming startup ideas or binge-watching Y-Combinator videos. Oh, and I also skate (mostly falling) and catch up on some much-needed sleep because I’m basically a koala.
